This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate, consistent, and timely budget status information to stakeholders
- Identifying and recommending opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs
- Providing budget analysis and cost estimation support which includes:
- Analyzing financial data, forecasting future trends, preparing budgets, and generating financial reports.
- Developing Rough Order of Magnitude estimates,
- Analyzing and assessing estimates to complete,
- Gathering and analyzing actuals
- Conducting variance analysis
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Providing budgetary inputs in support of statutory reporting requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- 9 years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, technical or business-related discipline
- Experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Experience in financial forecasting and diagnosis as well as finance and information analysis
- Experience communicating with senior leaders under tight timelines
- Ability to work independently and lead detail-oriented tasks
- Knowledge or experience of government Internal Control Program purposes and requirements
- Experience planning and building a fiscal year budget
- Experience in proving oversight of the execution of the approved budget
Basic Compensation:
$83,800 - $125,700
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
