Whether helping combat climate change, bolstering national security, or delivering solutions to accelerate the global energy transition, KBR is always committed to the mission.
Maybe that’s why we’re such a good fit for former service members — people who know about dedication, leadership, sacrifice and getting the job done.
Simply put, veterans keep KBR moving, which is why we proudly offer them new and exciting opportunities to continue serving their countries while also forging fulfilling civilian careers.
KBR SkillBridge
SkillBridge is a DOD program that allows a unique opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences
KBR partners with the University of Houston Supply Chain & Logistics Technology program to offer students — including veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces — a robust mentoring setting and exposure to real-life supply chain challenges.
A partnership with NextOp allows KBR to leverage their services in support of our veteran community. NextOp recruits, develops, and places high-performing, middle- enlisted (E-3 to E-7) post 9/11 military leaders into industry careers. Their employment coordinators work one on one with transitioning service members by matching them with employers for internship and apprenticeship opportunities through the Department of Defense's SkillBridge Program.

Stephanie Associate Attorney
KBR initially hired me as a Commercial Manager. In a few short years, KBR has allowed me to build on my Defence background by fostering and transferring those skills to apply them in the infrastructure industry as a lawyer. KBR has also supported my Masters in Legal Practice, which has benefitted the role I am in now.
