This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer you will develop, implement, and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes for various programs over their life cycle, ensuring that employees and contractors meet their responsibilities for product quality in accordance with requirements and expectations, and that systems created meet requirements. You will plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for engineering processes as well as other processes on the contract. You will provide an independent assessment of how the project(s) processes being implemented are performing relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process
Qualifications:
Required:
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in related field with a focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Has training and/or certifications related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Experience developing project Quality Assurance Plans and the implementation of procedures that conforms.
Experience working with teams to implement QA/QC procedures and to monitor performance relative to those procedures.
Experience reviewing and ensuring adequacy of all test plans, procedures, and reports for assigned programs
Basic Compensation:
$63,300 - $95,000
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
