This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Mail and Courier Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Mail and Courier Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of the customer's mail and courier operations.
  • Supervises staff to include mail clerks and couriers.
  • Oversees staff performing document and parcel sorting, receipt, preparation for shipment, and dissemination.
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and customer specifications.
  • Works closely with internal teams and customers to deliver efficient, accurate, and timely services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Clearance Requirement:  TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
  • 3+ years of experience working in a mail room or similar facility.
  • 3+ years supervising employees and performing project management. of experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Knowledge of U.S Postal Service regulations; accurate data delivery.
  • Knowledge of the packaging, handling, and shipment of classified materials.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to interact with personal representing various parts of the US Government and positively represent the customer and the company.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and adjust to changing environment.

Basic Compensation:

$59,000 - $88,500

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
