This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Estimator/Scheduler to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing cost estimates.
  • Assist in project scheduling.
  • Understand and assist in performing risk analyses.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Organize and normalize cost data.
  • Support cost research and issue paper development.
  • Assist with database architecture plans.
  • Assist with database architecture development.
  • Provide effective verbal and written correspondence.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Clearance Requirement:  TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the IC or DoD
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • HS Diploma required with BS in related field strongly preferred.
  • Facility Management Professional (FMP) Certification or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience as an estimator / scheduler.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in cost estimation in an engineering and construction environment.
  • Must be proficient with cost estimation software and tools and have excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Must be familiar with project management processes and methodologies.

Desired:

Basic Compensation:

$56,800 - $85,100

This range is for the Maryland area only 

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. 

Additional Compensation: 

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
