This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
KBR is seeking a Data Manager to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. The Data Manager will leverage personal experience, data analysis, and understanding of customer/system requirements to facilitate data ingestion to satisfy priority information-enabling operations that involve big data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. This position is customer facing and requires solid attributes for problem-solving, data analysis, troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and experimentation, often under time-sensitive decisions.

Job Duties:
- Develop, use, implement or review tools and techniques to perform data preparation, cleaning, and ingestion using data-oriented programming and customer-enabled tools
- Potential to apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets
- Identify best practices for data services monitoring and management
- Prepare security plans, review applicable guidelines and established procedures for all areas of security to included Information Security, Physical/Technical Security, Classification Management, Communication Security, and Program Security
- Coordinates corrective measures to address security concerns
- Review standard policy and compliance metrics by which data management will be monitored, corrective responses issued, and reported
- Review performance and cybersecurity monitoring framework
Minimum Qualifications:
- A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with a Polygraph
- Eight (8) years of experience specific to technical and programmatic integration or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in related science of engineering field (Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM discipline)
- Experience with data services and big data
- Understanding of best practices regarding data management
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with intelligence analysis and intelligence products
- Cloud certification (Azure or AWS)
- CompTIA+ certification in Security, Data, or DataSys
- Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related STEM field
Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
