This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Action Officer to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role you will be part of the Program Management office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers and external stakeholders, the IC, Federal agencies and Congress.
  • Coordinate with organizational elements to deliver responses.
  • Use specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems.
  • Establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Use judgement to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
  • Rely upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure actions are completed in compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with Polygraph
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience with the IC or DoD
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline

Desired:

  • National Security policy, IC budget and finance experience
  • Experience in senior/executive leadership communications and decision management
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities

Basic Compensation:

$95,600 - $143,300

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
